Proleaf 234 Oats Seed is a new forage oat that is very leafy and excellent forage quality. Organic Proleaf 234 is a medium maturity oat with very good disease resistance. Proleaf is not a good choice for grain production. Proleaf 234 Seed mixes well with alfalfa as a nurse crop to suppress weeds and protect from harsh weather. Proleaf 234 is also great with other legumes or by itself. Excellent for late-season nutrient management, but apply manure prior to seeding.
